Black Lives Matter

I’m not going to state my outrage, fear, sadness on this blog about the amount of violence towards black people. I’m going to find the resources that point to black educators, funding for black lives and ways to do the hard work white people have been needing to do. Check your privilege white people. It’s there and don’t say it’s not. Staying silent is deadly. Follow and learn from these outstanding black voices that are being heard. Talk to your white friends. Have these uncomfortable conversations.

Below is a list of articles I have read this week. This is not an exhaustive list of resources but it’s a start. I am going to work on finding more ways to fund, educate black lives matter. Help me create an opening to show black people that we see them, hear them and are with them.
